Albarracín 2026

In February, a friend and I visited the bouldering mecca of Albarracín. After two long days on the road, we finally stepped into the forest and instead of searching endlessly for blocs like we usually do, it felt as if the boulders were finding us. Every approach was no longer than fifteen minutes, and each time we arrived in a sector packed with pristine sandstone blocks, each one was somehow outshining the last. We stayed for two weeks; one of them was mostly rain, but we didn’t let that bring us down and made the most of every dry window.
