Björsäter 2023

These photos were taken during a bouldering trip in July 2023 with two friends. We camped outside and climbed problems ranging from 6a to 7b. Many of the routes felt heavily sandbagged—accendet by a local climber with long arms, whom we half-jokingly dubbed ‘Spaghetti Man‘. His beta videos helped, but didn’t always translate to our styles.

Macedonia

Prilep 2024

This series was captured during a climbing trip through North Macedonia in autumn 2024. We camped on the field of a retired policeman, who greeted us each morning with his sheep and the warmest smile. Traveling by car, we climbed in some of the most beautiful landscapes we’ve ever seen—though often surrounded by trash brought in from the city and burned in the open. Our days shifted between living like total outsiders—camping in dusty fields—and feeling like royalty when eating out, where a full meal costs about two-thirds less than back home in Austria. The contrast was striking: raw beauty, everyday struggle.

Slovenia

Oplotinca 2025

This small set of photos was taken during a day trip to Oplotnica in spring 2025. We regularly climb in the areas around Oplotnica and Ozbald—just across the Slovenian border and not far from Graz. Hidden deep in the forest, mossy boulders wait quietly beneath the trees—rough and rarely touched, until a bit of brushing reveals real gems. These places have become familiar terrain over time—easy to reach, rarely crowded, and full of quality problems.

Austria

Deutschlandsberg 2023

At the foot of the Koralpe, there are a few unassuming boulders hidden in the forest that we visited mainly because of the variety in difficulty levels. Luckily, we didn’t have to drive far, since the selection is limited and a single visit usually lets you climb all the relevant problems. Unfortunately, some of the boulders have been spoiled with artificial holds, which really takes away from the experience. Still, it was a lot of fun and perfect for a warm winter day.

FUJIFILM Spec Ad

2023 Fujifilm XE-4

These photos were taken the first time I held and tried out the XE-4 camera. I immediately fell in love with the tactile feedback of the dials and buttons. The mechanical satisfaction of every click and turn was something I wanted to capture and share. Shooting with this camera felt like a true hands-on experience—every adjustment precise and pleasing. This series shows what makes the camera special beyond just the images it produces.
